You have to walk through part of the golf course and then through a field to get to the path. You can follow it along the Potomac for quite a way.

Located behind a suburb and a sprawling golf course, this surprising gem takes you far from the madding crowd. I loved the shady trail (perfect on hot days) and the secluded, sandy beach on the Potomac.
