Being we were in town we went out to see Stonewall Jacksons grave and it was impressive. There were no lemons on the grave when we were there.

There are many Civil War Veterans buried in the Stonewall Jackson Memorial Cemetery. It’s nice to have a look around at the rest of the headstones. Stonewall Jackson is right in the middle, he is very easy to find. The cemetery is opened at dawn...More

Stonewall Jackson and his family are buried here. He was a CW hero and beloved teacher at VMI prior to Civil War. Place of peace and reflection on History.

The grave of Stonewall Jackson and his family are in this cemetry but it also includes many graves of the civil war era, a very interesting place to wander around

Aside from Stonwall JAckson and his family, there are numerous people from his time there. Lots of military. It's a square, symmetrical place with trees and homes surrounding it. It is a nice walk from town and peaceful to be there. RIP everyone there.:)

The grave sits atop a knoll in the cementary. There is a very nice statue there. There were roses and lemons (a Jackson favorite) at the grave. Not a *must see*. However, if you're in town it is an easy, quick stop.

Beautiful setting just on the outskirts, walking distance from center of town. Plenty of history in this small cemetery. Take some time 30 to 40 minutes and read many of the headstones. Visit with Stonewall Jackson for a while.

Lexington is a nice town to stroll around in, including the Jackson Cemetary, but I wouldn't do it in unpleasant weather

Definitely worth seeing if you have the chance to go to Lexington and enjoy the day strolling around town. This is a beautiful historic site and is always nicely maintained.
