I stopped in as I was staying in Middleburg and was interested. Located in an old house along Washington Street. Exhibits were primarily 1700-1800's art focused on horses and hounds although they were exhibiting some newer art from the 1900's that was extremely vibrant.

Very friendly people working at this little library. Collection is very specific - horse breeding, fishing. Great for researchers. Free for the public to look around. Didn't go into the museum.

My daughter and I are both equestrians and book lovers - and this place is pure heaven. We've visited many famous libraries and this beat all those experiences. The museum exhibits were wonderful and totally engaging. The visit to the library was our highlight. Lovely...More

I had the museum to myself this afternoon, so I enjoyed the new exhibit of 48 spectacular paintings, pastels and 2 charcoals of racehorses, foxhounds, foxes & chickens. I love everything about this museum, it is beautiful inside and out.

I came for an exhibit here. Beautiful place, with perfect exhibit potential (lighting, walls, etc.) Work of Andre Pater is on display there until mid August. Well worth seeing.

A home for equestrian and sporting art. Special gallery showings, lectures in the library and concerts on the lawn. Knowledgeable docents. A very special place in Middleburg
