My only regret about Cave Ridge is that I do not live closer. As a wine club member, I am excited to try the new wines as the wine maker, Randy Phillips, releases them. Great venue to take a lunch and share a bottle of wine with a friend; meet up with food and friends and enjoy music; and enjoy... More

We tried like 6 Shenandoah Valley wineries today and we feel Cave Ridge was the bang for your buck. The staff was great and warm, the wines were good, and the price point was reasonable. This is the only place we bought a bottle of wine to take home with us. They do offer a military discount off any bottle... More

While touring several wineries in the Shenandoah Valley, Cave Ridge came very highly recommended and did not disappoint. The tasting room was quite crowded however, that did not prevent us from having a very enjoyable experience tasting their excellent wine. Randy was very personable and provided us with a very educational and delightful experience. We were very impressed with all... More

The wife and I have been here a couple times now since we moved nearby. Probably one of the nicest vineyards around as far as ambience, size and so on. Although there are other very nice ones close by. We enjoyed their hospitality and wine.

We've been to a lot of wineries. It's very similar to most. Diana was very helpful, enjoyable, and conveyed the basics about the wines, the grapes, and the owner. Wines were pretty good, but felt that the selection was small, probably since they only use their own grapes.

Wasn't a fan of all of the wines, but they produce some very good reds. They have a nice patio area thats good for relaxing with some friends and a bottle of wine.

If you read my reviews, you know how much I love wineries! This one was terrific! Great tasting guide, she walked us through the tasting being very informative and at our pace, the owner also came out and chatted with us awhile and let us sample something he's been working on which we both loved! My favorite was the cab... More

Not a great road to get to this location. They did not offer tours . Wine tasting was 6.00. You can purchase wine by the glass or bottle. Friendly service.

Great wine. Unpretentious but so hospitable. Gorgeous setting. Family friendly. The Riesling and the Voignier are the best we have tasted! Love the views and the porches for enjoying a glass or two. We will definitely return.

One of our favorite vineyards. Knowledgeable staff. Liked talking to owners while we thoroughly enjoyed the excellent sangria in the outdoor patio while taking in the amazing view,
