Totally worth the walk (hike?) back up the hill afterwards. We came here on a recommendation from our guesthouse and it was a pleasant surprise. The waterfall was much larger than we were expecting, with plenty of space to swim around and relax. We grabbed some noodles and a refreshing drink from the local stall set-up near the falls. Highly... More

Very nice waterfalls! Have to walk down and back up the hill yourself as a car won't go down. Tough walk if hot day but worth it. Not many tourists at all, only locals, nice that it's not built up. Beautiful place for a swim and a cool-off after the walk down to it. Nice that there is no garbage... More

It's good for trekking inspiration. The path to water fall is quite rough and stony . But when I see water fall ,I forget tiredness water is fresh and clear good to spend the whole day near water fall under the shadows of trees and listening the voices of water falling down, jungles and birds and insects. That was relaxation and... More

We had a great day out here. I think we were the only ones who swam! Recommended. Just watch out for the girls who assign themselves as your guides!

Do yourself a favour and save a morning to come to this magic place. You can arrange a pick up with your hotel that will drop you 30 mins walking distance away from the waterfalls. The hike may be a bit challenging on the way up; but unless you are in bad shape, should be a pretty feasible challenge during... More

I would definitely recommend visiting the Anisakan Falls. After a steep walk down (appr. 30 minutes), you will be blinded by the sight of these falls and the little temple in front of it. Best time for photography is early morning or late afternoon!

Must take a scooter from town to falls. They wait while you hike down. A man came up to us and offered to guide us and we decided to do it. Wonderful to see the additional falls and hike through the jungle rather than on the main path. Very steep coming up again! With the trip

Its a long walk down and up a steep road which takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes each way. The waterfall is beautiful, however the surroundings are quite dirty as there is rubbish dumped in front of the 'cafes' right next to the waterfall.
