Wonderfull place

If you wish to relax and have a great view just take this tour climb to the mountains or have a nice swim in the lake. This region is a wonderful vantage point.

Skiing, swimming, bathing, relaxing and partying. All in one in Bad Gastein. And the town itself also has some beauties.

Huge and diversified slopes, long runs and comfortable lifts. The view point and the bridge on Stubnerkogel are brilliant.

Despite poor conditions and the fact that only 30% of the terrain for open, we still had a great week in BG. The town is genuinely fascinating - waterfalls in the centre, statuesque buildings, upscale eating and drinking to be had. The infrastructure can't be faulted, and although it is very hilly walking up to the lift station, there's a... More

So far a nice skiing area. Lots of sun and fun. Stubnerkogel to Angertal and back is a real success. Try for yourself and you will see.

Bad Gastein is a historical place with impressive buildings where you can get a view on the welness in the past. For skiing it's a great area with a lot of off piste facilities and a great variety of slopes to choose from.

As advertised. Good ski conditions, in spite of a lack of freezing temperatures and general lack of snow. The cross country skiing in the area is also good.

This is a stunning place both summer and winter. The skiing is some of the best in Europe. Makes places like Val D'isere look like an village nursery slope. After working both I can say that. If you lean to ski here then you can ski anywhere. Blue runs here are french reds and reds here are french blacks. Ski... More

We drove to Bad Gastein through the Austrian Alps and it was a beautiful day trip. The Alps are breathtaking. Arriving in Bad Gastein, we took the funicular up to the top and the views were stunning and lots of photo ops. We hiked along a few trails for about 2 hours. Nice day - Nice Village!
