We were staying about an hour from here so we decided to visit, and very glad that we did! My wife speaks almost fluent french, however I do not, and found the language cards helpful and the woman there also interpreted everything for us which was very good. I would recommend visiting, and be prepared to try some chocolate and... More

Found this by mistake, just across from our hotel and couldn't resist trying it. Learnt a lot about chocolate and how it's made - a very interesting visit.

Some posters to read, a looped film, a cursory look at a packing line and then the dreaded shop. I have to admit that I have professional knowledge so may be it would be interesting to a complete novice.

We regret your disappointment. We wear nevertheless a big interest in the quality of our Museum which actually interests especially the people novices and children in search for general information on the chocolate. More

The Bovetti chocolate factory and museum is located in the small industrial area on the road to Brive. Though the museum has some interesting displays (among them a greenhouse like sky-well with actual cacao plants), will allow you ‘a look in the kitchen’ and have a taster. The ‘thing to do’ (producing your own chocolate figure) is supposedly only for... More

Well priced; a small museum with information in French and English covering the history of chocolate through to modern production; demonstration and tasting at the end with English translations. The children made a chocolate chicken with mould to take home for future use. The adults have tastings with nearly a dozen different types of chocolate including some really interesting herb-chocolate... More

Daughter is obsessed with chocolate, this place was out of our way so tied in with a visit to Brive. It's well priced and kids under 12 get a mold with chocolate as part of their entrance free, it takes only 30 mins or so to do the small tour / museum, most things are shown in English also and... Went with young children who all enjoyed the film and tour. The chocolate is very very good and despite the brevity of the English translations, our fast talking guide Estelle?? was informative & charming.

We visited the factory with a group of friends including our young children on a wet afternoon in June 2016. The staff we're really helpful and friendly and the tour was informative if a little short. Tasting was plentiful with loads of different styles of chocolate to try. The kids made chocolate bunnies to bring home all in the price... More
