We were recently in New Market and got a good presentation about the Civil War battle in the area of New Market. So this drive around the historical park was a good addition to the museums we visited.

Stunning views and several paths to walk on. There is also a visitor center that I did not visit today, but have in the past. The homestead is also worth seeing but have toured in the past so today was just walking through the park.

Super place to visit if you like history. New Market is a very interesting place to spend at least one day understanding the battle and the VMI cadets roll they played.

Cool movie and museum focused on the battle of New Market with a really awesome focus on the VMI contribution to the battle. Really worth the entrance fee.

We saw no pets here. Much of the time we spent inside in the museum there so probably not practical coming to the site with your pet.

Sorry. Apparently I did. A vet complained on here about not getting a discount. I thought I responded to him.
