Stunning views and several paths to walk on. There is also a visitor center that I did not visit today, but have in the past. The homestead is also worth seeing but have toured in the past so today was just walking through the park.

Super place to visit if you like history. New Market is a very interesting place to spend at least one day understanding the battle and the VMI cadets roll they played.

Cool movie and museum focused on the battle of New Market with a really awesome focus on the VMI contribution to the battle. Really worth the entrance fee.

Have passed this for many years and decided it would be my final stop on my civil war battlefield extravaganza trip and it is worth the stop. Very thorough telling of a this little known, yet significant battle. I was simply interested in the battlefield...More

For those who are interested in Civil War history, this is a great stop. I recommend visiting the museum and viewing the film 'Field of Lost Shoes' before visiting the Bushong Farm and battlefield as it will allow for a better understanding of the grounds...More
