I expected another castle where u go around and watch the walls, but I was impressed by the history and he views and that it was literally a little city at certain times. Amazing how much it preserved and the views are fantastic. Having a coffee there on the top view terrace was one of the best moments of our... More

I had an apartment on the road to the castle so it seemed stupid not to visit. It was easy to buy tickets. Be warned there is only one slow six person lift to the top of the castle and it was a lengthily wait to clear the party ahead. However when we got out and were able to explore... More

One of the main sights of the island. It is a very nice castle overlooking part of the island. Due to it being private property part of it is closed for visitors.

Located on a separate island connected by causeway to Ischia, it offers beautiful panoramic views of Ischia, the sea, and Napoli shoreline. Very pleasant walks include gardens and remains of the historic buildings that comprised the caste. Absolutely worth the visit.

We were in Ischia for a day trip and I didn't consider going to the castle as from the harbour the entrance looks very unassuming. But once you've walked through the tunnel and gone up in the lift, the views are amazing of the surrounding islands and mainland Italy and well as into Ischia. I wish we could have spent... More
