The amazing city park, known as “The Walk”, is situated around the Roman amphitheater, that is often a concert venue during the summer season. The park is a perfect place for taking a stroll among the high trees, fountains and children playgrounds. It is a well-maintained green space; a welcomed relaxation point especially during hot days.

La Passeggiata occupies an area of almost 4 hectares between the ancient Roman city and part of the historic centre. The land was originally owned by the bishop and was used for cultivating vegetables. At one time it became French state property, then it was sold to Gandolfo di Genova. It was neglected and in 1846 was bought by the Municipality to be opened to the public. Domenico Giannelli was the engineer who designed the layout of the garden in 1854. Area to go to cool off, with trees, fountains and benches.
