We took the guided tour of the battleship. It was led by two former sailors who were in the 80s. They both had been on this class of ship and shared so much information and history. I enjoy history this way- through stories and first...More

This is not the first time we have visited a Navy vessel; seems we have climbed aboard many in the past 30 years! With that being said, this was the first one where you could actually enter areas such as the mess kitchen prep area...More

It's a really cool place to visit if you're into this type of thing. We have been to the Uss Alabama a few times and enjoy it but this is a newer ship and it's cool to see how much they improved, granted they are...More

We visited the attraction for the eclipse in August. Parking was a bit challenging. This is a must see when in the area. We spent half the day here. More so me than my wife being a Navy veteran. We watched the eclipse from the...More

A BEAUTIFUL SHIP. We took 2 guided tours and really got to see the ship. It is hard to imagine what must have gone on during war times especially considering most of the sailors were kids in their late teens or early twenties . Thank...More

We did not take a tour of the ship, but it would have been better if we had, to know what we were looking at. I appreciated the fact that we could go on and through it at all, and definitely appreciated its size and...More

The museum was nice but you couldn't experience all the locations on the ship. I would recommend visiting if you are in Norfolk.

The self guided tour had very limited access to the ship. If you are expecting access similar to the USS North Carolina (like I was) then you will be very disappointed. No access to the gun elevators, engine room, etc

I would bring a jacket because you are on the waterfront and in Norfolk the joke is what 5 minutes and the weather will change. Also, you may want a scarf in case the wind is up. There really aren't any tight places that I... More

With military discount I think it was $21.95 per ticket. Well worth it.
