The Norfolk Botanical Gardens is a gem of outdoor space in the city. Any time of year, it is a great place to go for a long walk and enjoy the terrain. IN May and October-Nov the rose garden is an amazing sight of beautiful colors and wonderful smells.

The gardens are always a great place to spend the day. Whether splashing in the fountains in the summer, walking through the lights before christmas, or just checking out the flora and fauna, NBG is great!

We were a bit early so the attendant told us that we could wait in the parking lot. Then another staff peson suggested that we move up to the next lot, thus we passed several lights during daylight. At the next lot stop, we were told to go through the display, thus the first quarter of the trail was not... More

I saw all the beautiful pictures of this garden on TripAdvisor and it enticed me to go. I went knowing that not all flowers were in bloom but it was still intriguing enough to go. The property was well kept and very large area. Unfortunately, the tram wasn't available. Then as we walked around and we encountered many areas that... More

Really a fun way to cap off a Staycation. Finally seeing events in our town. It was fun for the two of us & would most likely be even more so with kids. Enjoy!

This was the highlight of our holiday weekend! My daughter is almost 4 and a little unsure about Santa this year. The staff set us up with crafts, hot cocoa, and cookies while the children took turns visiting Santa. My daughter did not want to go up at first and the staff never forgot her. They checked in several times... More

Absolutely beautiful. We went in the Spring and were awed by the beauty of the plants and flowers. We recently enjoyed the Christmas light display.

It is always a treat to take a stroll through the Gardens. Wide paths and well maintained garden beds make it a perfect way to spend time for the young and old alike.
