Museum had some artifacts and pictures of the Napoleonic Peninsular War...all descriptions in only Portuguese. The diorama of the Bussaco battle was undergoing repair but was a great model. The film had English subtitles. There were life sized figures wearing uniforms.

Really amazing how many artefacts (guns, uniform and other) were collected just about one battle, considering that battle happened on start on 19 century - all pieces are in perfect condition and video is very informative. Just one thing to improve - to translate description…

A small exhibition that should appeal to enthusiasts but is only a 30 minute visit otherwise. If you have read the Sharpe novels by Bernard Cornwell about the Peninsular war it also will have interest for you.
