Very much enjoyed the tour and tasting, though the tour didn't offer enough time to explore the museum. Buy your port in the shop---much better prices for Ramos Pinto there than in liquor stores in Lisbon.

We came here for a tasting (not the tour as we had already toured other port houses). The selection of ports for tasting was excellent and tailored from introductory to expert. We tried the aged tawny and vintage selection. It was excellent value, generous servings of five high quality ports. The tasting area was nice and relaxing with some interesting... More

Very enjoyable tour. A distinct yellow building near the cable car stop on the river. Went for the 12.30 tour. First to book tickets chooses the language of the tour. It ended up just the 3 of us with our guide. Really interesting, the right length of tour and generous post tour Port tastings. Recommended.

We have been visited this cave in December 2016 and lucky us, we were just 4 for this visit. It lasts 30 min and at the end you taste 2 different Portos. (Like all the other caves) but what was different was Monica! Monica was our guide and she was awesome! She was always smiling, her English was perfect and... More

This is a lovely place to visit, and you are seated in a large room, with comfortable sofas. The architecture is stunning - with wonderful arches, and worth a look on its own. Although we went for the 'expert' range of five ports, we found them lacking in depth compared with others. The cost id modest, but I would not... More

This locally owned and run establishment provided a nearly personalized small group tour with two tastes at the end. Our charming and capable guide was a delight.

I would echo much that has been written previously about here. Check in advance as different language tours go at different times. The tour is full of surprises about the founder and the history of the company. Lots to see and the guide did a great job in bringing it all to life.

I visited Ramos Pinto after hearing from a friend I met in Porto that her guide told her to visit the "yellow building" and that it is the best among the wine cellars. Bare in mind that they have different timing for different languages of tour. I took the English tour that was at 1600hrs, also it was the last... More

Several tours throughout the day. But you may have to wait some time for one in a language you prefer. Oddly, the excuse is the first person to buy the ticket for a tour dictates the language - even more odd when the tours scheduled for the day were in consective European languages. Dont be disparaged, go up hill to... More

Visited with some friends and did the 4.00 p.m. tour in English. The tour is very informative whilst not being too long, our tour expert clearly loved her job! At the end you get to taste 3 fantastic ports, really worth the entrance fee.
