Very good tour

This locally owned and run establishment provided a nearly personalized small group tour with two tastes at the end. Our charming and capable guide was a delight.

I would echo much that has been written previously about here. Check in advance as different language tours go at different times. The tour is full of surprises about the founder and the history of the company. Lots to see and the guide did a great job in bringing it all to life.

I visited Ramos Pinto after hearing from a friend I met in Porto that her guide told her to visit the "yellow building" and that it is the best among the wine cellars. Bare in mind that they have different timing for different languages of tour. I took the English tour that was at 1600hrs, also it was the last... More

Several tours throughout the day. But you may have to wait some time for one in a language you prefer. Oddly, the excuse is the first person to buy the ticket for a tour dictates the language - even more odd when the tours scheduled for the day were in consective European languages. Dont be disparaged, go up hill to... More

Visited with some friends and did the 4.00 p.m. tour in English. The tour is very informative whilst not being too long, our tour expert clearly loved her job! At the end you get to taste 3 fantastic ports, really worth the entrance fee.

Didn't visit the cellars but instead went straight to a port tasting. Various options to choose and we had 5 different ports for 10 euro. The glass size are good and the ports are tried in a set order. But the star was a 10 year old tawny. The lounge which the tasting is based is very nice and all... More

Visited here to taste some of the ports produced. We had the medium selection of 5 different ports. LBV, Vintage, Reserve, 10 & 20 years old Tawny ports. All served chilled. Nice way to spend some time. Staff very friendly too.

You will have many choices for tours of Port caves - we picked Casa Ramos and were happy. They do a 3:30 PM tour in English that taught us how Casa Ramos distinguished itself in a crowed market despite coming late to the game. We also learned a bit about port. It was a good way to conclude an otherwise... More

With so many Port Wine Cellars to visit in Gaia, it is difficult to make a choice. Based on assorted reviews, we chose to visit Ramos Pinto and took a 2:20pm English-.speaking tour of the museum, cellars and tasting, priced at 6 euros pp. Our guide Monica was the complete package- articulate, knowledgeable and passionate. We learned about the colourful... More

We spent a lovely afternoon in the Casa Ramos Pinto. A visit was interesting and the wine was really good.
