We asked several people to recommend just one Port house to visit, and Taylor's was mentioned most often. The tour is self-guided, with an audio device, and describes the terrain, grapes, history etc of Taylor's Port production. The tour passes through the cool, gravel-floored granite...More

The smell of the cellar is absolutely beautiful. And the 'wine tasting', made me fall in love with port wine. If you still haven't been, go and visit!

Hello, We didn't book in advance, we just turned up and it was pretty quiet (about 3pm on a weekday). The tour is by audio guide and that's included in the price, provided to you when you pay.

Not a problem. Tours are quite frequent in English given by a very enthusiastic guide. Enjoy a glass whilst waiting for the next tour.
