The house that Robert Graves built in 1932, a five minute walk from the village of Deia, is now a museum. Once you have paid the entrance fee you still feel a bit like a trespasser. With the original furniture and pictures on the walls,...More

A fascinating insight into a largely disappearing way of life. Original artefacts, first editions, manuscripts, correspondence and recreated layout, "just as it was"

Recommend to visit. Nice to see and spend some time for a walk. A lot of mountain so can be a little hard.

Fascinating place, beautiful gardens and a fantastic introduction to the work of Robert Graves. The house is possibly tidier since the days of the great poet but is simple, functional and rather adorable. Recommended.
