The house is billed as the main attraction and is lovely - few rooms but with some understated treasures from ancient Rome and Greece - the most impressive Roman vase we had seen, It would be great to have more information; the site is mainly set up for German visitors. The gardens are a haven and although a little neglected... More

We visited Son Marroig while on a coach trip. The house is very pretty but the views are the star of the show, we stayed about 30mins before boarding the coach and to be honest this was long enough. Worth a visit for the views.

Enchanting house with pleasant but somewhat unkempt gardens - but charming and absolutely fantastic views. The walk to Sa Foradada is about 30 mins downhill but a good 45 back! Restaurant at bottom - but check it is open!

After visiting the Monestir de Miramar we stopped at Son Marroig on a Saturday morning. We were unsure whether the attraction was open and others seemed to think it was not, although there was no clear signage either way. As such after a short wander around outside we decided to leave and find somewhere else to visit.

A great place to watch the sunset. As opposed to much of tourist filled Mallorca this place caters to Mallorcans. Cheap beer and a crazy vantage point of the water and incredible rock formations that hug the coast of this side of Mallorca. My wife and I met a really cool Mallorcan couple who gave us a delicious bottle of... More

Drove here on a sublimely sunny early Summers day. The views were heavenly especially from the home of Ludwig Salvatore. This stunningly beautiful home set in sumptuously wild gardens offers amazing views of the coastline . There is a lovely white marble temple at the end of the gardens on the cliff edge - perfection for a wedding!

We were there for a family wedding. The location was stunning, the venue was outstanding, the food exceptional... Need I say more.

It was interesting to see son maroig given the history and all what its walls have been witnessing. The place is nevertheless run in a suboptimal way. It is dusty and different items of great historical interest are lying here and there, not really well exhibited, sometimes in a "dangerous" manner, (vases from Greek and Roman times on a wooden...
