We stayed nearby in early April, and my teenagers loved this long, fairly wide beach with its shallow water. My 15 year old could wade way out and only be up to his waist. Unfortunately, high season wasn't here yet, so ALL the WCs were locked/closed, some restaurants weren't open, and the foot washing stations wrapped up, and couldn't be... More

This is a huge, long sandy beach/bay with lovely views and walks. Shallow water for bathing and children especially.

Quiet beach near the port of Alcudia, ca. 50 km from Palma, it was a little fishers village, but now very animations on this nice sandy beach; the water is not deep, ideal for children,; you will find many restaurants and cafés in the port.

Miles and miles of beautiful white sandy beach with the mountains on the horizon. We did our daily walk to the Port from Alcudia along the beach. Good for the soul...

Puerto Alcudia has a fantastic beach. So why looking for a beach like Playa de Aucanada? Because it is more secluded, scenic and is nature experience. And yet just 5 minutes drive from Puerto Alcudia and has free parking. So if you are looking for a beach with no water sports, no charter groups, no souvenirs selling or massage nor... More

Many local maps refer to this as Alcanada, its the rocky end of the bay , away from the main resort . It has a couple of hotels, golf resort, one restaurant and a beach bar. Small beaches near the the bar , public wooded park on the beach, A super spot, walk past the port and old industrial area,... More

We rented a beachside apartment overlooking the bay, a few meters from the beach and gentle sea gradient towards deeper waters around 20 meters further out. It's a quiet and sedate development like several others at this end of the beach about one mile or so away from the port town itself. The long flat walk into town is a... More

Calm turquoise waters, deep soft sand like demerera sugar. A bit congested and lots of British. Very cheap booze in duty free shop

the beach is beautiful and we spent many days there, the water sports can be very expensive if you have more than one child and they will not budge or barter their prices, the beach is very very clean and has lifeguard's too, ideal for everyone including small children and the waters crystal clear.
