A very interesting look into Dali's personal home. Take time to see this if you are a Dali fan. Reserved tickets on line ahead of time and chose an early tour time...I recommend going early so that you are not rushed by the group in...More

Unless you are a super Dali fan this is not worth the drive, better to go the museum to see his work. You must buy tickets beforehand and you have to be present to collect your tickets half an hour before. There is not much...More

The house/museum is fascinating and there is a subtle sense of humour throughout. The tours are well organised so you are not crowded. There is a cafe and a shop. There is a car park nearby. The views of the little bay were delightful both...More

Salvador Dalí was born in Figueres but he found his working space and living area near Cadaques in Port Lligat, originally a fishing village. Before he became successful bought a small fisherman's hut and throughout the years keep investing in the neighbouring huts. The result...More

Book tickets in advance. If you know something about Dali and you have watched documentaries you can see that the majority of photos are taken there. I mean IVE BEEN THERE AND HE LIVED THERE. A must. Be ready to get dizzy

An insight into the life of Dalí. His eccentricities and outlook on the world are evident in the odd decorations. Makes for an interesting stop but be sure to book your tickets in advance because only a certain number of people can go through at...More

Following is a sinopsis of our day trip to Figures and Port Lligat. You can find a bus to get you to Figures and possibly one to Port Lligat, but you would have to make it a two day trip to get back to Barcelona. We would... More

For car rental, there are several in Figueras (Europcar, Budget, etc) and in Girona. Driving should be straight forward, but make sure you have a good GPS if you want to make the Dali triangel.

I think you have the answers to your question above. I would add that I believe it would be a mistake not to give Cadaques a bit more time. Consider spending a night or two there.
