I was amazed at the range of exhibits. Cool art outside, Roman artifacts, Cesanne, and fantastic vintage cars. There is something for just about anyone. Plus free parking. This was a great visit. You could spend all day here or just a couple of hours.

What a pleasure to see an artist such as Cézanne in Martigny!! For you all to discover the painting of Càzanne that has an error of perspective. I found it, and have no artistic talents more than Cézanne, but it does exist.

The exhibitions are almost always of a high standard with artwork from a wide range of public and private collections. Because they are so popular and the space is not very big, it can get overcrowded so try and go off peak.

The Cezanne Exhibition is currently on with many of his famous works on display. Very nicely laid out. Plus there is a car collection also on display. Plenty of car parking available . Very enjoyable.

It was quite a small museum but their temporary exhibit was very nice, we spent only a half hour inside; they had seating on the bottom floor right in the middle which was convenient if you wanted a break from walking around.

This was a great museum. The permanent collection was fantastic, the temporary exhibit; Cezanne was really, really great. There is also a very nice antique car collection, a fabulous sculpture garden and nice outdoor cafe. Truly worth trekking to the very weird town of Martigny!

We visited the Monet/Hodler/Munch exhibition at the Fondation Pierre Gianadda and it was very nice. Not only the exhibition in itself was nice, but the museum and the park around it is well worth the visit: on a sunny day you can stroll in the...More
