Visited here with my wife and two teenage kids. Had a nice walk through the designated path with plenty of nature to see. A small shop with light refreshments was nice. Would probably suit a family with younger children rather than teenage kids.

Beautiful day for a trip out to RSPB nature reserve. Parking free though donation is suggested. Strolled round paths amongst old lakes. Plenty of bird and insect interest. Ice cream and coffee overlooking bird garden. Very enjoyable and relaxing for a couple of hours.

Great to walk around and take the dog for a walk along the riverside. Seeing all of the wildlife. Taking in the fresh air. Speaking with people as you wander around the area. Child area to draw and play

The car park is £2.50 (payable in the cafe). Not sure about any gluten free cakes.
