Hollingsworth Lake is beautiful. It's a great family day out and a lovely walk around suitable for all the family. Plenty of nice restaurants and cafes make this an excellent location to spend the full day or even a weekend.

I have enjoyed visiting Hollingworth Lake since I was taken there as a toddler. Some great walks over the Pennines along ancient farm trails, good for mountain bikers as well. There is a good selection of places to dine, to suit all tastes and pockets.

No, I do not think so - I run a cycle club in Rochdale though and we supply bikes for our saturday rides if that would be of any assistance - let me know if you are interested.
