This was an area devastated by the chemical industry and restored to provide a most pleasing area for walking and recreation between the Ship Canal and the River Mersey. To the north are views over salt marshes to Widnes and beyond to the hills of...More

I love to take my dog here for long walks! It gives her the chance to interact with other dogs! I love to take pictures of the wildlife too! Would recommend depending on the weather!

Before it was closed off to accommodate the building of the new bridge, the footpath went as far as Moore Nature Reserve and beyond, now it;s a 10 minute walk around a field.

Not a bad dog walking area. But it is only a third of the size of what it used to be due to the bridge! Shame it used to be lovely but has been spoilt! Found the swans pond down the bottom polluted with some...More

Don’t know what I was expecting but a glorified footpath covered in dog poo bags in various guises, full, half full, once full and unused, I think, Actual poo mostly on the grass areas, but also on the actual paths etc. Council should also take...More
