beautiful pub, but lousy food. I understand they have a new manager. Well I do hope they also have a new cook because for the last few years we have been put off by the lousy food.

Pyrford Lock is a very pleasant place to come to walk and to enjoy the locks by the river Wey network. Watching the narrow boats go through the locks is always an experience for me.

My husband and I regularly walk in this area and it has a wonderful tranquility and isn't too crowded with walkers. Definitely worth a visit.

This is a lovely, tranquil dreamy spot, very English. It is a beautiful area to ramble in, especially along the river - pure therapy. There are good walks all around which one can enjoy at a leisurely pace. Definitely very restorative especially for city dwellers.

A great place to watch the world go by with the canal boats navigating the lock at a leisurly pace. Also see some cars struggle to get between the post on the narrow winding bridge. Then you can take a short walk along the canal bank.
