During the summer, the boat tour needs reservations. Parking is a 30 minute walk through flat land along boardwalks and paths. Benches and information plaques and signs along the way explain the ecological uniqueness of the area. No bugs in August. Be walking fit to get there. Bon Tours boat service well-organized. Tour is leisurely and narrated by guide. Western... More

You want to make a reservation to do this hike before your trip as space is limited on the boat and in the parking lot. We did the first tour in the morning. You take a very scenic walk down a boardwalk to the ship. We took about ten photos just getting to the ship. It doesn't matter if you... More

The locals feel replaced with bigger and better tour boat . Wonderful experience on the boat, I enjoyed it but is an expense. Its boring for small kids. Boat tours slowly. For avid photograhers a paradise of waterfalls. You could hike this and look down into the gorge. Small gift shop with refreshments. The trail in is a wooden walkway... More

Was quite a good trip. Relaxing 3 hr boat ride into the pond. Very friendly staff. Price was a tad on the higher end because the tour company has a monopoly here.

Great fjord in Gros Morne National Park. The path from the parking lot is easy and can be walked by everyone. Views are stunning, very reccomended the boat tour in the fjord. One of the best places I've seen in USA and Canada Park System. Very reccomended!!!

Western Brook Pond Trail is one of many hiking trails available to visitors of Gros Morne National Park. I will not review them all here but would encourage you to pick up a map of the trails when you purchase your park pass. Yes- a park pass is required which we were unaware of. The coastal trail, the Lighthouse trail... More

This was an experience and a half! We purchased our tickets the day before in Rocky Harbour as this attraction sells out, even in the off-season. The weather was not so great - pretty overcast and extremely strong winds - unfortunately you can't choose what the weather is going to be like on your days holiday! And although it would... More

We stayed in Gros Morne at the end of August and did the 10:00am boat tour of Western Brook Pond. Arrived at the parking lot around 9:40, had a nice little walk into the pond through some wooded areas and across a bog. Trail is well kept, many people were walking in flip flops although I would still recommend sneakers... More

While I agree with other tourists that the view is spectacular we felt that it was decidedly overpriced at $62 per person for a two hour cruise. The boat was so crowded there wasn't enough seats for everyone and the seats we had at the back of the boat were quite uncomfortable. Yes, there were some explanations of what we... More
