Best beach in Puerto Rico . Went on a boat trip from San Juan today. Enjoyed everything from snorkeling to swimming and walking on the beach. Would highly recommend this to anyone.

Isla Culebra is a small island with a small town. You can rent through Airbnb and I think there some small hotels, but very basic infrastructure overall. They have some restaurants and ATM's. Flamenco Beach is amazing. Im sure as other reviews have said that...More

This beach is gorgeous and somewhat off the beaten path, since it is in the small island of Culebra, a municipality of Puerto Rico. To enjoy it best you should plan at East an overnight stay, so you're not rushed to catch the ferry back...More

Is the most beautiful beach in the world. White sand, clear water. If you visit Puerto Rico, visit flamenco. To visit Flamenco Beach have to take a ferry from Fajardo ans have to buy tickets in advance.

Great beach you will love it if you could only stay awake after you wake up at the crack of dawn so you can ride the ferry. Good prices for food and drinks and umbrella rentals $3 big empanadas, shiskabobs and beer. But I wouldn't...More

For activities or excursions, do you recommend pre-purchasing in the States or buying on the island. Would we get a better or lower deal on the island vs. paying for activities beforehand?

If you go directly through their website, some sites have promotion codes with a discount or they are just a couple dollars off. Plus depending on when you plan on going, those dates might sell out prior to your arrival.

Is going on a tour to Flamenco beach the best and reliable way? I understand it would be more of an expense. My husband and I will be in PR in two weeks and are planning our trips and excursions for the island.

I find the ferry very time consuming. The next time I go I will try one of those Catamaran tours. I don't like the small plane idea (La Bamba).
how far is this beach from San Juan? Is there transportation and is there a place to rent snorkel equipment there?
