This is a nice beach with swings and a lot of shade. Coral on beach and shore makes barefoot entry tougher. We enjoyed the tranquility at this beach

This water was warm and calm which allowed for a great first time paddle boarding. Lots of colorful fish if you snorkel! Be careful for urchins and fire coral. Enter where it is sandy.

Probably because the dirt road getting there is rough. And there are no facilities there. But the sand is white and fine and the water turquoise, wam, and beautiful.

Right off the beach, snorkling is not interesting but a short distance to the right past the first rocks, things look really good. Hurricane Maria seems to have spared this beach.

Incredible snorkeling and conveniently located right below the fabulous Villa Melones where we stayed. Villa Melones and Melones Beach are the prefect combination for a wonderful stay in Culebra. Villa Melones is prefect for a family or 3 couples. There are three bedrooms all with...More

We spent the day at Melones Beach reading and visiting with quite the roost of chickens. It's a narrow sandy/shell lined shore but there were easy places to slip into the water to cool down. It was part of the great variety of beach choices...More

Excellent snorkeling spot, I was amazed by all the types of ocean flora, I didn't see many fishes though. It has a long coral reef so you can spend a couple of hours snorkeling peacefully. It has easy access, highly recommend!

Hidden gem since not a lot of people know about this beach in Culebra but the snorkeling is just amazing!!!! If you are a serious snorkeler, go to Tamarindo Beach first thing in the morning and then head to Melones. Bring water and snacks. Give...More

What more can you ask for than a snorkeling beach you can drive to with access right behind the beach sign at the parking lot. I saw fish from the moment my mask hit the water. As I was swimming along the coral to the...More

It is a left turn a little ahead of the ferry terminal. The road divides with one going uphill to a hospital and the other straight to Melones. There is a stretch of beach on the left where you can relax under the trees or...More
