We weren't sure if this would be our thing, but because the entrance fee was only $10 per adult, we went for it. The attraction has around 300 different birds (mainly in pairs) sourced from around the world. Some of the parrots are out of...More

Went here yesterday with my wife not knowing what to expect. Seeing the different types of parrots was an eye opening experience. Having the birds perch and climb up our arms was magical. - Animal loves :)

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
Hi chris we have a good Bird World here in australia (cairns), no small cages like the ones in the pics. We were told to stay away from the Macaws as it was breeding season and they get vicious. So perhaps this is why your Elmo experience was diffeent. My question is, what time of day did you visit? I know that with animals the time of day can also affect their behavior and I am hoping to visit he next April.
