Excellent hike to the falls. Take the lower trail to walk right along the stream, and then use the upper trail to walk back. It was cool through the valley, so take a jacket and a picnic lunch.

Ok, this is a hike...legit. Especially if you take the scenic look. This is all nature, no frills, no gift shop all nature. Be sure to bring water for your hike. It's rugged two miles up on the lower trail. It is truly beautiful to...More

The falls here are beautiful! We loved our visit here! It was an easy hike up and back. The trail was very well maintained!! Several food options are very close.

You will need $3, exact change, to park and visit the falls. There are bathrooms next to the parking lot; they have a family, ladies, and men's restrooms. RECOMMENDATION: Take the lower trail to the falls and the upper trail back (follow the steps up)...More

The beginning of the "upper" trail might work but not all the way to the falls. We came across someone pushing a stroller with much difficulty. I would NOT suggest it.

Sorry for the delay. The research I found would indicate No. You can be on the A.T in Giles county near Pearisburg but not from the cascades.

there are always some wildflowers during the spring and summer. I think the fall is spectacular, though.
