Great location, good wine, okay service

The greatest thing about this vineyard is by far the view and property, it is absolutely stunning and very well kept/cleaned. The wine wasn't the greatest I have ever had but... read more

We recently went to Breaux Vineyards as our starting point for the the Loudoun Heights Cluster. This was our first time visiting this vineyard and immediately noticed the stunning views on the drive up to the tasting room. There seemed to be plenty of parking, but I imagine it gets filled up pretty quickly on nice days. The tasting room... More

Stopped here after a visit to Harpers Ferry which is only 10 minutes away so a great place to stop after a hike or walk there. Excellent outdoor and indoor seating area and on a nice day the views are spectacular. Wine selection is good but somewhat overpriced for the quality so think you are paying for the setting a... The greatest thing about this vineyard is by far the view and property, it is absolutely stunning and very well kept/cleaned. The wine wasn't the greatest I have ever had but wasn't bad by any means. But I would only come back bc the view was so great, not for the wine. The staff was friendly but it was incredibly... More

This is our 3rd trip to Breaux to do a tasting. The tasting room has really grown over the years. The wine was great. There is food to purchase. There were many tables outside to sit and enjoy our bottle of wine and fantastic views. Only complaint, our server for the tasting was very slow and very distracted with many... More

Beautiful property and views. Lots of outdoor seating to enjoy a bottle. Wine tasting included about 6 varieties with a mix of whites and reds. The cab franc was very good as well as several others. We opted for a few bottles including a nicely priced red blend. The attached shop sells some cheeses, chocolates and other goodies for a... More

My husband and I visited with another couple and purchased the wine tastings. We visited on a spectacular autumn day. The setting could not have been finer. A band was playing, and they were terrific. When the tasting was over, I wanted to linger to hear more! This was a pleasant contrast to other wineries I have visited, where wailing... More

This vineyard was the happening place when we arrived. Groups of people were enjoying the wine, the sunshine, and good company on the lawn. The tasting room was filled yet there was room for more. The vibe was lively and energetic.

This was my first winery of the day and by far my best one of the day. The location is lovely and the tasting room is spacious. David, my server, was super friendly. They had a few very nice wines and it is the ideal place for a party or a picnic. I left with a bottle of Viognier which... More

We came for a wine tasting on a warm afternoon. We were greeted by friendly servers and enjoyed tasting the wines. ($5 for three.) They told me that they are known for their saving on blanc. The wines were good and the building and grounds are beautiful. We sat outside on the patio as did several other tables of tasters.

My husband makes it a point to bring his brother to this winery. Although they grew up in Napa, CA, they both reside elsewhere. It is a running joke that the "bros" go to Breaux when his brother visits. We also took my Aunt and Uncle along with their friends (all visiting from Northern California) as well as other friends...
