What a wonderful tribute to our fallen Marine Corp members. This is a beautiful well maintained National Cemetery. The museum and the base are conveniently located here.

This is such a beautiful cemetery off the beating path of the hustle and bustle of Northern Virginia. Located less than a mile outside the front gate of Quantico, it is so quiet and peaceful. All veterans from all the branches of service and spouses are buried here. The day I visited, there were herds of deer walking through this... More

Located in Triangle, just outside the grounds of the United States Marine Corps base in Quantico, is this absolutely beautiful cemetery ... When you walk among the rows of markers and headstones you are bound to see many familiar names in Marine Corps history ... A relatively newer military cemetery you will see much work prgressing around the outskirts as... More

Quantico National Cemetery is located in Triangle, Virginia near the Quantico Marine Base. The Marine Corps donated the land in 1983 to establish a national cemetery. In addition to the grave sites, there are nine memorials such as the Purple Heart Memorial. At the administration building, there is an electronic gravesite locator in the kiosk located in the breezeway of... More

Impressive. US Citizens or residents who have served in the Marine Corps are entitled to ask for burial at this wonderful site. A relative did so and that was the reason for my visit in July 2015. This is a beautiful, expansive resting ground for those who have served. For many, service in the Marine Corps was the highlight of... More

I have visited this cemetery many times. Christmas is a must when the graves are decorated with wreaths. I was lucky enough to go after a snow and it was breathtaking with the white ground, white lined tombstones and the green wreaths and red bows. I have also attended funerals here. Very impressive.

We placed flags on the graves of deceased soldiers of all past and current wars. A very humbling experience.
