Went diving and camping the last weekend of April. Probably 30 other campers, 100+ divers. The dive conditions were typical for the quarry - reasonably good visibility, temp about 60 to 30 feet. Best improvement from my visits 5 years and go are the restrooms/showers. Don't have to pay with quarters! Shower heads effective.

I came here in April and returned in August to complete my Advanced Open Water Certification. This is an awesome place to dive, cool sunken items, very friendly staff and the snack bar has great food. I can't wait to go back to camp and dive! My husband enjoyed himself and didn't even dive. This is a great campsite for... More

Awesome place to scuba and camp. Need rental equipment they have it. RV hook ups or tent sites. Food at inexpensive rates on site. Must be scuba certified. Quarry full of awesome things to see. From a airplane to a black hawk to platforms to basketball goal with bowling balls to buses to swim through. Call ahead of time during... More

to say this retooling of the scuba lake is better is not much of a compliment. anyone could have done a better job but, every customer flaw i saw from the past owners has reversed 180 degrees. check in is proficient and friendly BIG BIG BIG improvement. no more "if you don't like us go somewhere else." the shop is... I was part of a group of divers from a dive shop Alexandria for a fun dive as opposed to a certification group. The distance and travel time is about 2:45 hours but you may need to add another hour on that coming from DC on Friday and same for returning to DC due to traffic volume and jams. I... More

This fresh-water quarry makes for a fun, but out-of-the-way, diving weekend. Make sure you get in and dive early otherwise the water becomes murky once the hoards of divers kick up silt from the bottom. Lining the bottom of the lake are lots of neat things to see: a helicopter, school bus, boat, and fish. The fish seem to like... More

It was the 1st time I was there, they treated me very good. I had my tank inspected for 25.00. They dive was nice for fresh water. Visibility was very good. I felt it was a little costly at 18.00 a day.

Decided to do a dive camping weekend here with a friend. I was pleasantly surprised at the transformation from the old management. The dive shop is clean, well lit and organized. Rental equipment appeared to be in good condition. Prices were probably a little above average, but that is to be expected. Campsites were nice, and we stayed two nights.... More

This dive park is a great place for SCUBA training at all levels. The platforms and submerged sights are really well laid out. The campgrounds are an ever improving part of the attraction. There are many more rv outlets, the showers are now free and hot. Access to the water is still congested and steep, but that is a small... More

We went to the campground and lake so I could complete my PADI open water diver certification. Since it spanned Saturday and Sunday we reserved an RV spot, with water and electric, starting Friday for our Class A RV. Coming from the DC area on a Friday after work I knew we would hit traffic so I'd called earlier in... More
