The museum itself, is a gorgeous modern building, and I would recommend visiting just to see the large glass windows/walls and glass staircase. The staff was very friendly and informative. There weren't as many exhibits or art peices as I expected and a lot of...More

My mother and I truly enjoyed ourselves. We headed downtown, to check out the farmer's market, and found there was a festival going on so we decided to go to the museum. Some of the fiber art wasn't my cup of tea, but we found...More

The Taubman is a shining star in the Roanoke Valley. The museum showcases art from both local and world class talent. Also a good venue for events. The building itself is worth seeing.

We, my daughter and I were very impressed with the history of the architect's vision for this museum and how it reflects the remarkable history of the city. The exhibits are nice and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

This is such a refreshing little taste of culture and modern architecture. The musical presentations downstairs are amazing. And it is free! Sadly it seems very underused.

Beautiful building, an architectural gem. Collection is sparse and eclectic, best part being the Judith Lieber handbag collection. SKip the gift shop, nothing of interest or value.

This is a small museum with a great location in downtown Roanoke. Easy to get to and in a nice area with little shops and eateries. Most of the artists seemed local but interesting and displayed in an architecturally attractive building. Due to some local...More
