Great place to walk and enjoy the environment. Buildings are being restored so not an opportunity to view inside. Be sure to take the walkway over the marsh.

The trails and bridges are wide and the terrain varied. Walk along the peaceful river, its inlets, and marshes. The views are beautiful along the water and through the woods. There's also a dog park.

We loved this park. Lots of easy to walk trails and entrance in several different ways. Nicely marked trails. Quite scenic with many excellent ways to view the marshes and woods. Really first class.

Lots of distance options. We did the longest loop, almost 4 miles. Was very diversified as well. Woods, meadows, marsh views, farmlands....

Trails, pet friendly, water views, historic farm. Over five miles of trails that criss cross this Historic farm, a kayak launch on the river and bridges that cross the marsh from multiple parking lots and access from local hotel.

Windsor Castle Park is a large walking park directly across from Smithfield Station. We watched two deer playing in the marsh. The park has a number of bridges and piers along the Pagan River, a children's play area, a kayak launching area. We strictly used it as a walking experience, taking about a 3 mile loop. You can extend and... More

My wife and I walk our two Vizslas in the park every morning (weather permitting). There is a small (8-10) herd of deer in the park, almost tame enough to walk up to even with our dogs. It's not uncommon to see bucks in late summer and fall. Trail is well maintained, quiet and beautiful any time of year. If... More
