Not much to see, but it is on the boardwalk, so you may as well do it while you're there! It was not our thing.

The Old Coast Guard Station was a nice place to visit on the Virginia Beach Boardwalk. Only $4 to get in. It's a bit small, and maybe not terribly interesting to someone who isn't knowledgeable of maritime history, but I was able to find some interesting bits, especially regarding the shipwreck history and the connections with WWII. The gift shop... More

Fascinating museum to learn about the rescues performed by the brave Coast Guardsmen who patrolled this area. Well worth the stop-in and to visit the cute gift shop.

This museum is located right on the Boardwalk. Entry fee is minimal. Museum guide was quite knowledgeable and friendly. I learned much about the ingenuity of early life savers who risked their own lives to save those aboard foundering ships. We left with a new awareness and sense of pride in this particular part of history - selflessness that was... More

My husband and I are staying in a hotel near the Old Coast Guard Station, and in our travels up and down the East Coast we've had the chance to visit other historic Coast Guard stations - at Cape Hatteras Lighthouse and also on Hutchinson Island in Florida. We enjoy them very much and this Old Coast Guard Station is... More

Nice and nostalgic business. Good Customer Service, not pushy for building tour. Prices reasonable. Bought a few sea shell items, Sea Time Tea (really good taste), other souvenirs that's not in other souvenir shops. Nice visit. Will return in summer 2017
