Me and my family was so fascinated with this aquarium. Beautiful ocean animals and they appeared to be cared for beautifully. I learned a lot and have a greater respect towards marine animals.

This was a nice place but was disappointed in the aquarium when comparing it to others that I've been too. The displays were very crowded with narrow walk ways. Also I felt there should have been more marine life exhibits.

This aquarium was crowded on a rainy day at the beach. Due to maintenance of the second large tank, foot traffic was forced to go back on itself to see the next exhibit. For a major coastal resort town, the main building was disappointing.

We went on a Wednesday... it was crowded... but I would agree, staff handle it well. I think there were a couple buses there from camps and what not. I would bet that Sundays are less crowded.

There is a parking lot adjacent to the Virginia Aquarium, and an additional lot just across the street. Parking is free.
