The statue is always there to look at. Additionally, there is a lot going on at the park throughout the summer but you have to check the FB page or website to see exactly whats happening on which day. Still in all, its at the beach. Win/win.

If you're staying at the beach, make sure you see the King Neptune Statue, on the boardwalk and 31st street. It's interesting to see it both in the day and at night. It's quite large and no matter how many times you visit, you'll always notice something that you hadn't seen on it before. Plus it's on the ocean, so... More

We could see Neptune's statue way off in the distance from our oceanfront hotel balcony, so we had to go down the boardwalk to get a closer look.....and lots of pictures, too! The statue is very well done with various sea life creatures carved around the base. Neptune will always be a Virginia Beach memory!

The statue of Neptune is very impressive. The park didn't have anything going on when we visited, but I imagine its very nice in the summer months.

It is a wonderful park along the beach. I really love the statue of Neptune. I can also see the beach and the ocean. I took several pictures of Neptune.

After a long day of travel, we walked down to check out Neptune expecting very little. And then Neptune stood tall above the sidewalk with an impressive collection of marine animals. Loved it!

There really isn't much to Neptune's park. There is a larger stage for performances and a smaller gazebo near the boardwalk. We have gone to concerts there many times. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the sounds of the waves and the view. The star of the show is the King Neptune statue that has become the symbol of Va... More

We visited offseason so there was not much to do there besides walk around on the beach and visit local restaurants. I am sure there is a great culture surrounding the park during peak season. The statue is a must see though!

The entertainment here was great. They had men parachuting out of planes and landing in a planned spot. They all hit it exactly right on!! One night on the ocean, they had fire works. Always a lot going on at the park.

Action, people, sun and music as you stroll along the beach. There is a international sand sculpture exhibit this weekend. Only 5$ to see. There is the Neptune festival with blocks of tented exhibits/stuff for sale and the stage appears set for some entertainment... lol I'll go check that out :-)
