A Very Nice Virginia Winery

Very helpful staff-Mark in particular was very knowledgeable about Virginia wines. We especially enjoyed the Chardonnay and the Viognier. Beautiful setting and nice nibbles.

While visiting Little Washington Virginia in Shenandoah National Park near Skyline Drive we popped into Little Washington Winery on a gorgeous Spring Saturday. The Winery was fun and the staff was very educational about both Virginia and International wines. We enjoyed a great wine tasting and drank up the gorgeous view of Old Rag Mountain in the Blue Ridge Mountains... More

Stopped by here on our way back from lunch in Sperryville. First time for both of us. Bridget did our tasting and was very knowledgeable about the wines. We were fortunate enough to score a tasting paired with Girl Scout Cookies!! It was a great visit on a beautiful weekend. The tasting room has gorgeous views. Wonderful property. Will definitely... We've been to nearly all wineries in the area, with exception of this one. We finally gave it a try and have to say they have an interesting concept of having you taste and compare their wines to wines from other vineyards around the world to compare how well this winery does with similar/same wines. Otium and some others used... More

There is such a nice sitting area outside that could be so cozy on a chilly day. They offer wine classes too. I really love that they offer wines from around the world so their club members can always try something new, in addition to their own wines. However, I didn't like any of the wines in the tasting -at... More

We stopped by for a wine tasting. One of the owners actually did our tasting and was incredibly knowledgeable on the wine making processes as well as different techniques that they're using. They offer classes that sound really interesting, although they book up fast, so sign up early. If you just want to do a wine tasting, I would suggest... More

We attended a Wine Bootcamp with a Specialicious coupon. Honestly, we didn't expect much, but it was a good excuse to try a new winery in one of our favorite places in Virginia. We were pleasantly surprised! The bootcamp (actually an hour and a half tutorial with food pairings), was really good. Carl Henrickson, the winemaker and owner, was the... More

This place is more of a wine shop vs. a winery. They kept saying "our wine" but they really got it from someplace else. The staff was a little pretentious for our liking. Won't be back. No warm fuzzies here.

We had been to the wine boot camp and were mightily impressed. Owners provided us with significant amounts of information that has proven to be very useful. This time not so much. We participated in the wine and food pairing session which after a great introduction by Carl deteriorated into a not so coherent ramble of food and wine that... More

Enjoyable first visit to the winery. Gorgeous scenery and on a cooler day we would have sat outside and taken in the view. I like that you get their wines and some international wines, nice balance. The cheese we got was delicious and our server was really fun.
