This piece of history is so beautifully restored. The tours and events that have been and are still occurring here are like no other. It truly feels like you are stepping back in time.

It's about an hour tour so plan ahead. And, you may wait in line for about 20 minutes. Definitely worth seeing the mansion and grounds. Lovely gardens.

This is a great look of how England lived on the colony using us as slaves to better the King, everything was better here than in the colony, you will also see where future presidents were trained in law and many more exciting historical places

If you get a chance to see one of the performances at the palace, do so! The actors are wonderful and the setting is truly beautiful. The gardens are amazing.

there is a triangle ticket you can get to see jamestown, williamsburg and yorktown. it's good for 7 days.

I too have not heard of a private tour but encourage you to ask. I would think there are others who'd appreciate this service.
