I loved the shops here...some specialized in Williamsburg items, others in everyday items (like Williams-Sonoma). Great restaurants, too. We went on a Sunday, so it was very crowded. An hour wait for DoG Street Pub for lunch was well worth it! Next time I would...More

There are not as many actual shopping stores as we remembered from a decade ago. There are many eating locations from snacks to fine dining. The area is shut off to motor vehicles which makes for a delightful atmosphere. No need to plan a full...More

Highly recommend Merchant Square, great shopping in fun shops. Many options for lunch or dinner. Make sure to save time after visiting Colonial Williamsburg. The bus does stop here, spend day two here or really just part of the day.

This is one of my favorite things to do while in Williamsburg. Great shopping, great little restaurants, cobblestone type streets, best bookstore ever. Musical concerts. Lots to do here.

Merchants square is a very cute and quaint place to spend a relaxing few hours strolling around different boutiques. It is also very beautiful lit up at night. You can also enjoy the history around the shops and through town itself.

Yes, Small shops in the area to visit. I wouldn't go on a really cold day but mild temperatures would be good to walk around outside.
