The house is small with vintage props - some actually owned by Patsy Cline - that were typical of the era when she lived there. The historical interpreter made Patsy's story come to life with information about her family, growing up, and her career. The black walnut tree from Patsy's youth is still in the backyard - and there's a... More

The layout of the house takes you back in time. You could envision Patsy sitting at the piano singing. The docents were excellent !!! You could see that they were lovers of Patsy.

My wife and I aren't country music fans--although I must admit I have a tremendous respect and fascination for Johnny Cash and Roy Orbison--and our visits to Winchester, Virginia, were based on its Civil War and even Revolutionary War history, including Stonewall Jackson's headquarters house once owned by relatives of television star Mary Tyler Moore. Only recently did we realize... More

If you love Patsy Cline like I do, you should stop by this sweet little house and stay for a tour. Local ladies were very proud to share their knowledge and love of this incredible artist who died oh too soon. Many items in the house or not original, but the guide will tell you what was Patsys or her... More

If you are a Patsy Cline fan, this is a very worthwhile tour. My wife was and still is a huge Patsy fan, and I have to say I enjoy her music. While in town for a convention, we had the opportunity to tour her home in Winchester ($8 fee, $6 if 65 & over. Free for military & kids... More

We stopped in to see this house during our road trip home from Nashville to Philadelphia. The guides were very friendly and informative. The stories they shared about Patsy and her family were well worth the stop.

I stopped by for an outside view only. I cannot comment on the interior plan and exhibits. Conveniently located right near downtown.

Boy who would of thunk that this was where she grew up. The tour was awesome and the historic information that I never knew about Patsy Cline or Jenny to the locals. Gene and Cindy were very knowledgeable and the hospitality was beyond expectation. It's hard to believe the knowledge of these 2 wonderful people !! Plus they volunteer there... More
