This is a small, but informative little stop that deals with George Washington's time in Winchester. It's pretty much a log cabin with 3 rooms, one of which is the entry and a small gift shoppette. The docent is very knowledgeable and friendly. There's a...More

George Washington's Headquarters is a very small space but has a lot of good information and friendly staff. It is self guided and takes about 20mins to complete there is not a ton to look at but more of a reading tour.

The building is very small and the doorways are very narrow. the outside grounds are very well kept and you can take pictures with the George Washington statue.

A gem of a place. Small but worth every penny to learn and see where President Washington began his career and life's journey. Nice informative exhibits with intriguing historical artifacts.
