The trail is wide, level, paved. Some is shady but most is not. We saw butterflies, bikers, joggers. Homes nearby are massive.

I've biked and ran along this trail, easily accessible from the nearby strip-mall. Easy to see a variety of wildlife here, including birds, small mammals and the occasional black snake. And the firefly show in the summer is unforgettable.

This delightful little path/trail is away from the hubbub of historic Old Winchester and makes you feel like you have escaped the city. The trail does skirt along between the railroad tracks and the back of a residential area (the trail skirts backyards). There is...More

We found this to walk and get a little morning exercise. It was well used on a Sunday morning by joggers, walkers and people walking their dogs. Nice flat surface. Nothing exceptional but a nice trail.

We like to ride our bike slowly through the wetlands. We find it very pleasant and relaxing. However, the are many, many places where roots are pushing through the asphalt. Not only is this very bumpy, but could be a trip hazard to walkers.

This is a lovely little walk. While the views aren't anything extraordinary and the end point may be a let down the first time, meandering through the wetlands, along the railroad tracks, and behind a quiet neighborhood has a charm to it. If you go...More

This is a well attended path right in the thick of things in Winchester. (ok, a few blocks out). We walked along and we loved the list of birds that people have seen! We loved the wetlands...but wished it would have had more shade! We...More

Have visited this wetlands walk on every visit to Winchester. The surface is smooth pavement with one wooden bridge. Path runs thru wetlands, then beside old railroad track, and then behind some homes in nice neighborhood. Not very long but a nice place for a...More
