From the time we walked in the lobby and checked in to checking out everything went smoothly. I was nice having the shuttle to take you around the resort.

The views from this resort are absolutely stunning. We stayed on Fairway Woods and it was a short walk to the Nature Foundation, The Devils Grill and also the spa (which we didn't use). Sadly it rained for 2 solid days when we were there with fog so we didn't venture very far. The last full day was bright and... More

Wintergreen is a fun ski area in the beautiful blue ridge mountains, but their terrain park is not worth it. It used to have many fun features like quarter pipes, real tabletops, real spines with transitions on both sides, gaps, rhythm sections, even a half pipe at one point. It boasts on the website of having a number one park,... More

We stayed at the Blue Ridge Retreat with 8 women. It is an amazing home, so beautifully decorated. Beautiful, grand furniture in each bedroom and everyone had their own bathroom. The stars on the back deck at night are a sight to behold. We hiked several different trails over the weekend, including accessing the Appalacian trail.

I took my children, ages 10 and 15, to ski for the first time. They took a group lesson- the instructor was helpful and friendly. Staff at the resort were mostly friendly- they are from all over the world so sometimes there's some communication issues but mostly just trying to understand each other. Resort was beautiful and kept up nice.... More

We go tubing every year and always try some place different. Last year we went to a resort just north of Hagerstown, MD and it was "Senior Day" at the tubing area. There were dozens of senior citizens, the oldest at 95, having a great time! We decided this year to take my 75-year old Mother for her first time... More

We went to go tubing for the second year in a row. We were there on a Thursday and there were no crowds. We had a blast and will return again!

Incredibly fun place right here in Virginia...a bit less than two hours from Richmond. EASY drive...not like I-95.

The lift attendance has gone downhill this year. The resort is more focused on the property owners. Ski patrol however are fantastic. Snow well it's not a great year but you cannot point fingers. Good starter mountain.

The mountain is beautiful and the skiing was great. My only issue was check in was at four and the house want ready. We had to wait about 35 minutes. The house itself was nice (castle snow) and we had a great stay. I asked for a late checkout since we were not able to get in on time and... More
