Gorgeous beach. Bathrooms in parking lot right by beach. Picnic table and benches looking out over beach. When the tide is low there is plenty of sand and lots of logs for kids (and adults) to climb around on. Kids love making forts with the logs. Gorgeous beach to walk on.

This park has several amenities including campsites, picnic benches and shelters with BBQ's, plan equipment, beach access, bathrooms, most recently a wooden board walk that allows wheelchair uses to get close enough to the water edge to see the beautiful view of the Seattle skyline and Mount Rainier and Mount Baker on a clear day. This is not the best... More

Since the local Bainbridge Parks district assumed management from State this has seen constant improvement. It is a year-around beach park with adjoining campsites and picnic areas. Camping from small tents to large mobile homes is possible with good facilities and well maintained bathrooms. Hookups for RVs are present but usually need to be reserved. Summers tend to be busy... Tent Camping: $15 per night Max Stay: 10 nights I wanted to find a secure, well managed, relaxing place to test my camping gear outside of the city (Seattle). Fay Bainbridge Park, turned out to be almost perfect. I arrived two days before a massive storm. The first two nights, I camped in the premium camp site next to the... More

A beautiful beach that is well maintained and the perfect place to take kids to play or for a picnic. The drift wood is fun for the kids and makes for a beautiful setting. There is also a great walkway that was built by a local Eagle Scout for access for all.

We will be back. This up there in the top five (5) RV Parks we've stay at. The grounds were well kept, bathroom/shower is simple and clean and operates with quarters. The ships pass by, what a wonderful sight. And Seattle is right across. It's great to take the ferry across, and definitely eat at the Space Needle. But stay... More

We visited here to plan our family reunion. It is a great place, right on Puget Sound. Good picnic facilities and even camping. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate, train, lightning and thunder.

A beautiful sandy beach with a lot of drift wood. It seemed to be a nice place for families as there was a playground and fire pits. It was also quite popular as we were there later in the afternoon on a rather cool and cloudy day, but there were quite a few people. That being said, there were still... More

Make the trek to the north end of the island if you want uninterrupted views of the Puget Sound from Mt Baker to Mt Rainier (and downtown Seattle in between). It's a great place for the kids to investigate the driftwood filled beach or play on the small playground. Places to camp and bbq are available as well

Thus park is mostly for campers and rv's but a really nice long beach. Mostly a bit rocky, but it was wide and we had a good mile or so of walking before the beach shrunk on us. Fabulous views. Watched Orcas for an hour before we had to leave....more orcas than on our whale watch trip!
