An old-fashioned general store located in the historic Rolling Bay neighborhood of Bainbridge Island. Home to the famous Bay Hay shirts. This is our favorite store on the Island and has been for over 35 years. It's hard to describe. First it is an old time farmers feed store, with hay and all sorts of animal feed. You go there to buy chicks in the spring. It is also an outstanding nursery. How about apparel? Yes from barn boots to great... More

My very favorite birthday gift to receive is a Bay Hay Gift certificate - so many wonderful things from the healthiest plants to wonderful cards and children's toys. A true island treasure that only gets better.

A wonderful store to visit with an interesting collection of merchandise: clothing, shoes, food, garden supplies, plants, horse feed ...

If you live on the north end of the Island, this is one of two places you can go for farming or gardening supplies. I love Bay Hay and Feed. It's small town American and the employees go out of their way to help you find what ever you might need. The owners are part of the community, regularly donating... More

What more could you want? Famous for their signature t-shirts, Bay Hat is much more than an evolved farm store; it's a destination. A few miles from the ferry, Rolling Bay is touristy, sincere, and charming. Rolling Bay Cafe is nestled alongside the nursery. On the other side is an ancient and adorable functional post office.

Where else could you find some bedding plants, socks, organic milk, toys, greeting cards and chicken feed all in one store? Bay Hay & Feed is the one place that really gives you a sense of Bainbridge Island. Staff is very helpful, products are great quality, local and reasonably priced. It is a great place to stop for a coffee... More

This is a great place to browse! They have everything from live chicks (in the spring), clothes, pet supplies, shoes, children's and adult gifts, local produce, everything garden--and then have a great cup of coffee and a scone while you sit at a picnic table in the garden. Love this place! I actually visit frequently as I live nearby. Lucky... More

Bay Hay is a small, but extremely well stocked nursery. A good selection of trees and shrubs, Dan Hinkley plants and a small, wonderful selection of annuals. They also stock feed, baby chicks, jeans, socks and distinctive T-shirts. The staff arel also knowledgeable and helpful.
