Right in the city. This park has rushing waterfalls, trails along leafy paths, and well-maintained crushed gravel pathways. Free parking, easy to find, very pleasant to visit.

Whatcom Falls Park is a wonderful serene spot right in town.....there are trails to walk, a waterfall that is beautiful and different in every season....kids fishing pond....a fish hatchery, picnic area and playgorund for kids.....truly a nice spot to visit

This place is amazing! Lots of pathways. Good children's play areas. A fish hatchery, and oh yes - The Falls!! So glad the City of Bellingham was smart enough to create a park around this treasure. I bring my grandchildren here or come alone to...More

Gorgeous waterfalls just a short walk from the parking lot. There's also a salmon hatchery and trails through the woods. Not a wilderness hike, since it's in town, but you feel like you are in the woods in certain parts of the park.

This is a gem of an urban park. Love the hiking trails, the WPA bridge, and, of course, Whatcom Falls.

A great place for photos and family pictures. Great walking and running trails. Make sure you spend time on the bridge looking at the falls.

Yes, there are many places in the park to read a book. If you want to be near the falls, I would of course bring a folding chair or spread a blanket.
