A great outdoor experience for all seasons.

Extensive network of hiking trails and a breathtaking waterfall. A good place for for a family or solo outing.

We had a delightful time walking through the beautiful Whatcom Falls Park, while staying in Bellingham. Thank you to TripAdvisor for recommending this place to visit!! Our only complaint, is that apparently, NO ONE cleans up their dog poop, as we were constantly walking around little doggie dumps. The falls are beautiful! We walked about 3 miles along the different... More

Just a 5 minute drive from busy Bellingham is Whatcom Falls Park. It's a quick drive up and walk 200 yards to see the beautiful falls, and to walk over the historic bridge built in the 1930s. Then, miles of trails that you can explore that are relatively flat and easy for all ages to explore.

Besides the Falls which are beautiful there are many trails for easy to a bit more moderate hiking. Try the 100 steps to get your heart rate up. The sound of the falls is wonderful.

A great little get away in the middle of the city. Take a hike, enjoy the foliage and the river. The old bridge makes for a great photography spot.

One of my favorite parks in town. The trails are excellent and the falls are spectacular! Standing on the old stone bridge watching the water cascade over the falls is breathtaking!

A series of beautiful cascades, surrounded by woodland and miles of trails right in Bellingham. Do go for sunny day big views--this is a good trail to excape the heat or on a dreary day, its shelter is wonderful and beauty close up. The more rain, the bigger the cascades. Connects to another wonderful park on Lake Whatcom, as well... More

This is a great urban park where you can get as close to the water as you like. (Hold on to your little ones!) There are easy and more difficult trails, but the falls are very close to parking, so you don't have to walk far to see them. This time of year the falls were pretty fast. There's also... More

You only have to walk 3 minutes to see a beautiful falls and river. The path is paved for a bit and you can stand on the bridge to see the falls. There is a short loop walk that follows the river. The park area associated with the falls is also very nice.

Nice park in the middle of residential area, lots of easy walking trails, and of course the falls. Not the grandest, or biggest waterfall, but super busy and popular with the locals. Lots of Greenspan, easy to enjoy nature even when busy. Nice place to spend some time to relax.
