This is a very scenic drive, one of the best in the state. It is also a bit of a cliffhanger so drivers don't have the best view. There are a few nice lunch spots. Some great hikes, parks and camping.

This is one of the most amazing drives you can take on the west coast. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. An abundance of ocean, cliffs, and nature.

I always take Chuckanut Drive when I have some extra time going to Bellingham. No matter the weather the drive is a true treasure not to be missed. Stop along the way.

Sunny afternoon...would have been better in the morning. Nice picnic area. Easy drive, as not many visitors even though it was a Sunday. Well worth this very scenic drive.

Hugging the cliffs over Chuckanut and Samish Bay, this drive is sometimes called Washington’s Big Sur. It is one of those drives that if you are in the neighborhood, you have to take it! The road was conceived in 1891 and construction began in 1896....More
