Even though the ferry was running late due to weather conditions before we boarded, the captain managed to get us to our destination on time. We were able to find a quiet, low traffic place to put out our sleeping bags. We enjoyed the towels...More

Two of us took this ferry from Skagway to Juneau. We had a vehicle and purchased a cabin. Took a long time to load vehicles at our stop in Haines. The groups of four seats in the observation lounge are awkwardly placed for watching the...More

Taking the AMHS into Southeast Alaska is a dream come true. One time and you will want to be a repeat customer! Love the Matanuska!
