Best activity of our weekend, by far. Our family was having a low-key getaway weekend poking around Bellingham and surroundings. This place was a hit with both 6YO and 3YO as well as us grown ups. Lots of hands-on time and ability to interact with the exhibits. Highly recommend for families with small kids.

Mindport is an amazing hands on museum where you learn about tornadoes, water pressure, magnetism and so, so much more! It is fun for kids as young as 3 and older then 70.

We visited Bellingham on tip from local residents we met on the Chain Lake trail yesterday. Came today to avoid the rain, with no particular plans, but discovered Mindport walking by- what a treasure ! For a kid or old fossilized engineer, intrigued with all things mechanical- we could have spent all day here, but finally moved on for a... More

$2.00 admission and will occupy the kids for anywhere between 30 minutes to two hours. Depends on how much time they spend on each exhibit. Great for grown ups too! (You'll have to figure out how some things work and explain them!)

Mindport is stimulating for all ages. Took a friend's 13 year old son and he was occupied for almost 4 hours. I brought a good book since Mindport offers nice seating areas for those who want to sit for awhile

Kinetic art, hands on activities, audible experiments, optical illusions - very neat place and well worth the small entrance fee.

This was definitely one of the neatest "museums" that I have been to!! Lots of hands-on things to try and lots of look at. Some of the most unique items/displays!

Recently, I have avoided the place because of a middle aged guy that works there. I'm sure he means well, but his approach to people walking thru the door make the place unwelcoming. Atleast if you have a small child. There is another review about him handling a guest that he believed didn't pay, sounds like the same guy. I... More

This is a gem of a place if you have kids. It is a museum but the can touch and play with most things in there while learning at the same time. The place is very cheap to enter also, only $2 to enter into the museum. It was the best money spent on the trip and the kids played... More

Awesome indoor activity! Very cool interactive exhibits to play with and make you think! Fun for young children and parents and probably everything in between...
